WHAT IS THE FOOD PANTRY?

theRock’s Food Pantry is a place available for individuals and families in need to come to receive food and basic toiletries. We want to be a help up in our city, our community and in our own family.

We carry all sorts of canned food, non perishable items and basic toiletry needs available free of charge to those who are in need.

We know times can be hard at some points and that we all are in need at various places in our lives. We want to be available when those times arise.

Jesus tells the parable of the sheep and the goats and describes how we have given honor to God as we love those around us and feed the hungry, clothe the needy, and give to the poor.

WHAT IF I OR MY FAMILY IS IN NEED?
The Food Pantry is open once a week on Wednesdays from 6-7pm. It is located in the student center wing across from the 2&3 year old class.

Because of the nature of need, if Wednesday is not an option for you, please call Richard Martinez at 816.914.7164 or email at richard@rockofkc.com and we can work out a time to meet you.

Our heart is to help and serve in any way we can.

Our hope is to be able to have more times available as we grow to facilitate whatever need may arise.

HOW CAN I HELP?
We would love for you to be able to be a part of this ministry.

FOOD
Food Pantry Bins are available in the lobby for your convenience to drop off less than a year old food, non perishable items or basic toiletries whenever the building is open.

MONEY
If you would like to give to this ministry, please denote on your check or offering envelope “Food Pantry”

TIME
You can give of your time to help sort, hand out, or fill in at the Food Pantry.
