Prayer and Fasting 2020

The Season to pray and fast is upon us.
The time to start off a new calendar year.

Stirring our hunger and thirst for God.  Praying and interceding with fasting for the God of Heaven and earth to rend the Heavens once again and come down & intervene in our lives, our city, our nation and the nations of the earth.

For Him to establish His Kingdom rule and reign in our hearts as it is in Heaven.

Please join us Monday through Friday January 6th-10th from 5:30am-6:30am at the Rock as we give the first fruits of our new year to God in corporate worship and prayer.

We will culminate our time of prayer & fasting on Saturday, January 11th at 5 pm with an extended time of worship and prayer for those who need a healing miracle, for our first responders, for our military families & for our law enforcement.

  1. The End of Human Sexual Trafficking &that the Abolition Movement would continue to grow and not lose heart.

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1

2. A Great Awakening in our City, Nation and the Nations of the Earth.

But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that is illuminated becomes a light itself. So it is said:
“Wake up, O sleeper,
rise up from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:13-16

3. The Welfare of Kansas City and the surrounding Metropolitan Areas.

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.
Jeremiah 29:7

4. For our Children and our schools.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16

5. For the foundation of Marriages and Families to be Christ Centered and Strengthened.

For behold, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrow on the string to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
The LORD is in His holy temple;
the LORD is on His heavenly throne.
His eyes are watching closely;
they examine the sons of men.
Psalm 11

 “Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living.
But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24
