As people living in Love, it’s our job to bring the light of Jesus into the darkness.
The enemy hates light. He hates families and love and everything that is good. In fact, we know that he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. His strategy is simple – to break down the family, to cause a rift in the relationships, and to ultimately destroy it.
The enemy whispers that love is never real, that love is only pretend, that to believe otherwise is foolish. He uses the shadows to mask contempt, bitterness, brokenness, and hurt as what we’ve come to accept as love. He is not elaborate in his plan to destroy, he is just consistent.
But the good news is also not elaborate. The good news is simple and consistent. There is always Hope.
The Hope of Jesus is the kind of hope that doesn’t get diluted by the dark. It’s the kind of hope that thrives and pierces and grows stronger in the face of the enemy. And this Hope (this incredible, live-giving Hope), is what we fight for.
So, let’s sow love. Let’s shout love into the darkness and into the hearts that are broken by broken people. Let’s speak hope to the hopeless and healing to the hurt.
This is how we fight the battle of human trafficking, through Love and in Love and by Love. Through Hope in Hope and by Hope. Together.
“I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should. Peace be with you, dear brothers and sisters, and may God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you love with faithfulness. May God’s grace be eternally upon all who love our Lord Jesus Christ.” [Ephesians 6:20 & 23]

Run To Stop It is an annual campaign to raise funds to assist in the abolition of human sex trafficking. At The Rock, we have the honor of partnering with those on the front lines. Because of your continued support of this cause, we have been able to donate over $700,000 dollars towards the abolition of sex trafficking. This year, our goal is to raise an additional $300,000.
