Crew is the Youth Ministry at The Rock of KC for those in 7th - 12th grade. Crew is a weekly ministry that meets on Thursdays. Our campus doors open at 6:30 p.m. for games and connecting, service is from 7-8:30p.m. and campus closes at 8:45 p.m.. Each week we meet to worship God, play games, hear a word from our Youth Pastor Isaac Zenil and meet in house crew breakouts. We want to help foster a strong connection for each student that attends Crew and encourage them to connect with other students and leaders the first time they come.

Our focus is to equip the youth of this generation with The Word of God and the confidence to go into the world to be the salt and light and profess the glory of God. We believe that our students have the ability to make a large impact in all their schools around the KC area and beyond. We want to equip them with all the tools they need and a firm foundation in Christ as they graduate and enter into the next phase of their lives.

Crew is a weekly ministry that meets every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.. These are some of our small events we put on to help encourage you to invite your friends to Crew to meet Jesus.

Karaoke Night

Join us on the 30th for a fun a night of worship and karaoke with your friends. This is a great event to invite your friends to check out Crew and meet more students. If you’re already apart of a house you’ll get double house points for bringing friends. See you there!

  • Houses are our version of small groups. Each student is randomly sorted into their house on their first visit to Crew or at the Sorting Ceremony at the beginning of the school year. We randomly sort the students to help foster real relationships between other students and leaders. In turn developing our student’s connection to the body of Christ.

    The houses meet each week to discuss the message as well as bibles studies and build community. The students have the opportunity to raise points for their house through out the semester to try and win the house championship prize.

  • Discord is a communication platform that students can access through the app or online. We use discord for all of our communication in a private Crew server. This server is only accessed by students at Crew and Crew Leaders. All participants are filtered and sorted into their house group chats. Discord allows students to communicate together outside of Crew for prayer request and staying connected on all of our events.

  • At Crew we believe that parents are the first Pastors in the family. We currently have a Crew Parent group through Church Center. This parent group will keep you updated on the weekly gatherings of Crew and allow us to reach out for any updates. Over time, we plan to add in more resources to help equip parents and give them the tools they need. You can click on the link below to join!

  • Can I attend service with my student?
    At this time for the safety of all the students of Crew, We ask parents to not attend service with their student(s). We regularly preform background checks on our volunteers to make sure your students are in a safe environment.

    Will my student(s) make connections?

    At Crew we work to make sure your student gets connected on their first visit. We have Houses that your student will get sorted into on their first arrival. These houses are broken up by Middle and High Schools, so your student will be able to interact with others their age. We also have an amazing team that has a heart to make sure no student is getting left out.
