Crew is the Youth Ministry at The Rock of KC for those in 7th - 12th grade. Crew is a weekly ministry that meets on Thursdays. Our campus doors open at 6:30 p.m. for games and connecting, service is from 7-8:30p.m. and campus closes at 8:45 p.m.. Each week we meet to worship God, play games, get into the Word and gather in our Crew Houses.

Our focus is to equip the youth of this generation with The Word of God and the confidence to go into the world to be the salt and light and profess His Glory. We believe that our students have the ability to make a large impact in all their schools around the KC area and beyond. We want to equip them with all the tools they need and a firm foundation in Christ as they graduate and enter into the next phase of their lives.

Crew is a weekly ministry that meets every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.. These are some of our events that we host to help encourage you to invite your friends to Crew, so that they might encounter Jesus and be forever changed by Him.

Fall Invite Night

We are taking service outside for a fun campfire and pumpkin filled evening. There will be Worship, a Word, and plenty of s’mores to go around! Make sure you bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Our Fall Invite Night is the perfect night to invite your friends to Crew!
If you haven’t yet been to Crew, our Invite nights are the perfect place to fit in and get to meet other students your age who are going All In on God.

Christmas at Crew

It’s been a very merry year at Crew and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Join us for a Christmas celebration by wearing your festive gear and inviting your friends. We will have games, Worship and a Word to send us all into the new year feeling Merry and Bright!

This will be Crew’s last service before our short winter break. Crew will be back after Christmas and New Years on January 7th!

  • Crew Houses are one of the main ways we connect you to others in your age range and mentors in the faith. The first time you attend Crew, you will get sorted into a house that you will stay in for the whole school year. We use houses to earn points throughout the year to compete to become House Champions and win a prize.

    Each week you will connect with your house and after service will meet in your Crew House Breakouts for small groups and prayer. Your small group will consist of other students in your age range and gender and be led by our House Leaders. They will help lead your group in discussions about the message as well as lead bible studies and foster connection between you and your peers.

    Our goal for Houses is to foster community and connection from your first visit all the way till you graduate out of Crew. When we lean in to the body of Christ and fellowship together, He shows up in miraculous ways.

  • At Crew we believe that parents are the first Pastors in the family. We currently have a Crew Parent group through Church Center. This parent group will keep you updated on the weekly gatherings of Crew and allow us to reach out for any updates. Over time, we plan to add in more resources to help equip parents and give them the tools they need. You can click on the link below to join!

  • Can I attend service with my student?
    At this time for the safety of all the students of Crew, We ask parents to not attend service with their student(s). We regularly preform background checks on our volunteers to make sure your students are in a safe environment.

    Will my student(s) make connections?

    At Crew we work to make sure your student gets connected on their first visit. We have Houses that your student will get sorted into on their first arrival. These houses are broken up by Middle and High Schools, so your student will be able to interact with others their age. We also have an amazing team that has a heart to make sure no student is getting left out.
